----中冶长天国际工程有限责任公司（简称CIE），由原中冶集团长沙冶金设计研究总院改制设立，中冶集团长沙冶金设计研究总院建于1957年11月，为甲级大型综合设计研究单位。中冶长天国际工程有限责任公司承继了其优良资产和优秀人才，于2003年3月正式挂牌。CIE现有从业人员649人，其中具有高级职称的人员268人，中级职称166人，有中国工程设计大师2名，享受政府特殊津贴的高级专家24名，教授级高级工程师50名，共有博士、硕士35名。
----CIE技术装备精良，设有30多个专业，具有雄厚的工程咨询、工程勘察、工程设计、工程总承包、工程监理及科研开发实力。拥有冶金、建筑、市政公用、公路、建材、商务粮、化工石化医药行业及环境污染防治专项、智能建筑专项、城市规划等工程甲、乙级设计资质。同时持有工程咨询、工程勘察、建设工程总承包、工程监理甲级资质证书。有对外经济合作经营资格，曾与美、德、日、瑞典等20多个国家和地区进行过技术合作与交流，并建立了长期的友好合作关系，承担过10多个国家的工程设计和工程总承包任务。
CIE恪守“技术创新，精益求精，提供顾客满意的工程建设服务”这一质量方针。多年来，完成的工程设计项目逾千项，其工程建设总投资高达600多亿元。CIE近3年平均年总承包额在6亿元以上，其中完成的烧结工程设计和工程总承包额在5亿元以上,CIE完成的烧结工程设计和工程总承包在国内市场享有盛誉。
----CIE连续15年被授予“长沙市重合同、守信用单位”称号，连续7年被授予“湖南省级重合同、守信用单位”称号，2003年1月又荣获国家工商行政管理总局公告的“全国守合同重信用企业”称号。
----CIE获国家级、省部级优秀工程项目奖、科技进步奖、发明奖等共309项。其中国家级金奖4项、银奖5项、铜奖1项，CIE参加设计的宝钢二期工程获国家科技进步特等奖和全国最佳工程设计特等奖。CIE还拥有经国家专利局授权的专利25项。

----Zhongye Changtian International Engineering Co., Ltd(CIE) is established and restructured on the basis of former Changsha Metallurgical Design & Research Central Institute of China Metallurgical Construction (Group) Corporation. CIE is listed as one of the 100 state powerful engineering prospecting and design units since 1996. CIE inherits the supreme assets and excellent talents from the institute, the company's sign was officially hung out in March, 2003. The company now possesses a staff of 649, among them, there are 2 China engineering design masters, 35 doctors and masters (35 persons who have got the doctor's or master's degree), 24 specialists who enjoy special government allowance, 50 professorship engineers, 268 senior engineers and 166 professional and technical personnel.

Over the years, CIE has completed about 1000 various engineering designs with an investment value of over 60 billion Yuan (RMB) and annual turnkey project value of 0.5 billion, and the engineering design and general contracting of sintering projects undertaken by the company enjoys a high reputation in domestic and overseas markets. The company has won 309 national, ministerial and provincial prizes for excellent engineering design, for scientific and technological progress and for invention, among which there are 4 gold prizes, 5 silver prizes, 1 copper prize, 1 top prize for national scientific and technological progress, 1 Lu Ban prize for China architectural engineering and 1 top prize for national excellent engineering design. The institute also enjoys 25 patents which have been granted by the state bureau of patent .
